BCAA - branched-chain amino acids

BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids) are the branched-chain amino acids leucine, valine, and isoleucine. These compounds are so named because their chemical structure has an extended side chain. They belong to the group of essential amino acids, i.e., amino acids that are indispensable in our diet because our body cannot produce them itself. They are an essential component in the synthesis of most proteins, and more than 30% of our muscles consist of BCAAs.

L-GLUTAMINE

L-glutamine is an organic chemical compound from the group of endogenous amino acids. It has numerous biological functions, e.g., as a nitrogen transporter, as a precursor for glutathione, or for nucleotide synthesis. It is one of the substrates in the process of gluconeogenesis.
