The Natrol L-Arginine dietary supplement contains 3,000 mg of the endogenous amino acid L-Arginine, i.e., the amino acid that the body can produce itself. Unfortunately, it is often present in insufficient amounts to fulfill all its functions. Furthermore, the product is a source of vitamins B6 and B12 as well as folic acid.
L-Arginine has numerous clinical applications. This is mainly due to the fact that it is a precursor of the body's own synthesis of nitric oxide (NO), which plays an important role in regulating the functional state of the blood vessel wall. The effect of L-Arginine is evident, among other things, in that it increases the vasodilatory capacity of the vessels, reduces platelet aggregation, and inhibits the proliferation of smooth vascular muscle cells.
L-Arginine supports the male reproductive system. Scientific studies have shown that L-Arginine can improve sperm motility without causing side effects.
Vitamin B6 regulates the hormonal balance [ID 69]. Pyridoxine also supports the immune system and is involved in the formation of red blood cells [ID 67].
Folic acid is involved in the metabolism of homocysteine [ID 80], a protein that in excessive amounts can lead to various serious diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases.
Vitamin B12 supports the function of the immune system [ID 107]. It also helps ensure proper cell division [ID 93] and is involved in the formation of red blood cells [ID 101].
In summary, the Natrol L-Arginine dietary supplement is a source of a very safe and natural amino acid that has many health-promoting properties. Natrol's dietary supplement has a simple and natural composition, free from unnecessary additives and enhancers.
