DESCRIPTION:


Diatomaceous earth, also called kieselgur or diatomaceous earth, is a fragmented sedimentary rock formed from the shells of diatoms, the shells of microscopic single-celled organisms (phytoplankton) that lived millions of years ago in fresh and salt water.

USAGE:
