Pennywort has a wide APPLICATION in Indian natural medicine (Ayurveda). It is believed to have rejuvenating properties and has a beneficial effect on brain function.
The common name of the Asiatic pennywort is gotu kola. In Sinhala, the word "kola" means a leaf and "gotu" means a goblet-shaped chalice.
Regular USE of the Asian Pennywort is said to improve memory, prevent depression and relieve anxiety. According to Ayurvedic principles, Pennywort is used to treat skin lesions caused by leprosy, vitiligo, psoriasis, eczema, urinary tract inflammatory diseases, syphilis, asthma, anemia, cholera and hypertension. Also with diabetes it is recommended to enrich the diet with Asian pennywort. In India, the plant was used in folk medicine for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract: dysentery, diarrhea, abdominal pain and indigestion. In Chinese medicine, pennywort is used to treat depression, anxiety, and as a remedy for physical and mental fatigue.
Scientists have discovered that gotu kola activates the release of a protein that stimulates the formation of new brain cells. In addition, gotu kola contributes to the development of the dendrite (an element of the neuron that transmits signals received from other neurons to the cell body through synapses), thereby increasing brain plasticity and communication between brain cells. In addition, Centella protects the brain from the damaging effects of free radicals and neurotoxins.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1 capsule daily with or after a meal with water.
