Essentials for New Year's Eve: Natural face masks
- Green Clay Purifying Mask
- Moisturizing mask with manuka honey and oatmeal
- Brightening and nourishing mask with spirulina
- Banana mask with matte effect
The New Year's Eve party is enjoyable, that's a fact, but all ladies know that the hours leading up to it are much more enjoyable when spent with careful preparation! Manicure, pedicure, bath, hairstyling... and of course a beautifying mask.
Instead of applying mysterious and dangerous-sounding chemical agents to your face a few hours before the end of the year, prepare yourself natural, fresh masks that will make your skin glow and make you feel extraordinarily beautiful at the turn of the year! We have some mask recipes for you to make at home using ingredients you can find in our organic shop.
Cleansing mask with green clay
If your skin has problems with imperfections, blemishes and excessive sebum production, masks with different types of clay are perfect for it. Green clay in particular is famous for its purifying properties, so it's spot on! Mix 1/2 level teaspoon of clay with 1 tablespoon of full-fat Greek yogurt, apply to cleansed face and leave on for 15-20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Clay cleanses the skin and the fat contained in yoghurt prevents it from drying out.
moisturizing mask with manuka honey and oat flakes
Manuka honey is a veritable treasure trove of valuable nutrients - and it also has delicate antiseptic and whitening properties, making it a great base for masks and can even be used on its own. In a grinder or blender, mix ground oats with enough honey to make a thick but spreadable paste. Spread the mask on the skin and leave it on for about half an hour, then rinse thoroughly and your face will be left comfortably soft, moisturized and nourished. Note: People who are sensitive to gluten should choose gluten-free oatmeal.
Brightening and nourishing mask with Spirulina
Spirulina is considered a so-called superfood , i.e. a food with exceptional nutritional and health-promoting properties - but did you know that it can be just as fantastic if you don't eat it but apply it to your skin? Mix less than a tablespoon of spirulina powder with a sufficient amount of your favorite hydrosol (such as orange flower water or witch hazel) to form a paste with the consistency of a thick cream. Apply it to your face and leave it on for a few minutes, then rinse off. Effect? Radiant, oxygenated skin!
Banana mask with matte effect
We all want to shine on New Year's Eve, but definitely none of us want to shine, which is why a mattifying mask is an absolute must! And it's literally a "mousse," because you make it with a carefully mashed ripe banana (less than half a medium-sized fruit is enough), a teaspoon of honey, and a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Apply the mask to your face for about 20 minutes and after washing off, enjoy a nourished skin with a beautiful silky glow!
