Squalane is a derivative of human squalene, which naturally occurs in the
lipid layer of the skin. For this reason, it is highly sought after in cosmetics.
Interestingly, the squalene content of human sebum is about
10-15% until the age of 25, after which it decreases with age. As a result, our skin
loses its beautiful and healthy appearance.
To remedy this, we need to provide our skin with organic sugarcane squalane -
a very light, odorless oil that gives the skin a silky, soft
finish.
Squalene vs. Squalane - Squalene breaks down when exposed to oxygen and sunlight.
Squalane, on the other hand, is a much more stable form, resistant to
oxidation and harmful effects of external factors.
