Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Omega-3 fatty acids belong to the group of essential fatty acids (EFAs). Our body is unable to synthesize them, so they must be regularly supplied with food. The main source of Omega-3 fatty acids, especially the long-chain fractions - eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) - is fish oil.

Omegan 750® contains a high concentration of the most important long-chain Omega-3 acids - EPA (530 mg) and DHA (220 mg) - in an ideal ratio that corresponds to the latest scientific findings.

Oxidative Stability through Vitamin E

Fish oil is particularly susceptible to oxidation (rancidity) due to its high content of long-chain, polyunsaturated Omega-3 fatty acids, which leads to the formation of undesirable secondary oxidation products. Omegan 750® contains Vitamin E, a natural antioxidant that protects the unsaturated fatty acids from oxidation.

Ingredients:

• Fish oil concentrate from anchovies and sardines.
• Gelatin.
• Humectant: glycerol (glycerin).
• Purified water.
• Antioxidants: mixed tocopherols.

Composition of the recommended daily dose:

• 1 capsule: fish oil concentrate from anchovies and sardines 1000 mg.
• Of which: EPA* 530 mg, DHA** 220 mg.
• * Eicosapentaenoic acid.
• ** Docosahexaenoic acid.
• Total content of Omega-3 acids: 800 mg (1 capsule), 1600 mg (2 capsules), 2400 mg (3 capsules), 3200 mg (4 capsules).

Recommended use: Take 1 - 2 capsules 1-2 times daily with sufficient liquid.
