INGREDIENTS

Matcha green tea 100% * (* certified organic ingredient)

DESCRIPTION
Organic matcha from the second and third harvest. It is characterized by a strong aroma with a noticeable bitterness and a lighter shade of green. Recommended for Matcha Latte, cocktails and as an addition to ice cream or baked goods.

PREPARATION
Pour a small amount of matcha tea over a teaspoon of warm water in a bowl and stir vigorously with a bamboo stirrer until all the matcha is dissolved and a characteristic thick foam forms on the surface. Then slowly add water to get a serving of about 200ml. A traditional bamboo chases, i.e. a mixing stick, works best for mixing. Matcha can also be prepared with a manual milk frother, replacing the traditional cup with a glass or mug.
The temperature of the water should be around 80 °C. You can get it by using a kettle with a temperature gauge, or by placing a regular kettle with boiling water for 10 minutes.
Matchy should not be doused with boiling water as it loses some of its nutritional properties.
